Worship Online

June 14, 2020

This is the service for June 14 - We are no longer offering new guided worship services. You can access our current worship services on our Facebook page.

Welcome

Welcome to our online worship service! This Sunday, June 14, we will begin meeting in person outside but we will continue to offer online worship. The message will be uploaded as soon as possible after our in person worship service so that you can watch and listen to the same message that those participating in our in person worship heard. Bear with us as we adapt to our current circumstances.

*Please note that depending on your internet speed, videos may take some time to load.

Call to Worship

Read Aloud:

Come, let us worship the Lord! It is right to give him thanks and praise.

Come, whether online or in person, we gather together in spirit to praise our maker.

Come, filled with joy or sorrow, the savior welcomes you into his presence.

Confession and Assurance

Almighty Creator, Lord God,

We come before you this morning as people broken by personal sin and living within a sinful world that taints even the best of things. Father forgive us for the ways we fail to love you and love our neighbors as our selves. Forgive us for participating in corrupt systems that are filled with injustice and take advantage of the poor, the widow, the fatherless, and the foreigner. Have mercy O Lord.

Thank you Lord Jesus,

We celebrate your sacrifice on our behalf, your incredible grace and mercy, and the gift of the Holy Spirit. Thank you for redeeming us and bringing about the renewal of our hearts and world. Strengthen us to live righteous lives even as you forgive us our sins. We praise your name,

Amen.

Let's sing together:

Morning Prayer

Read aloud or pray in your heart:

Lord,

We love you and give thanks for your love for us. You are so good! Your righteousness and justice are beautiful to our hearts. Help us promote your kingdom and to live out your kingdom values. Thank you for the unity that we as brothers and sisters have with one another through the blood of Jesus and the power of the Spirit. Make us one.

Father we pray for all of the churches gathering online or in person. May your gospel be preached, my lives be transformed, and may more people come to know Jesus as their lord and savior. In Jesus name we pray,

Amen.

Community Prayer

Let us know how we can pray for you today:

Text: Galatians 5:13-26

Message: The Fruit of the Spirit

Song of Response:

Parting Blessing

The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Online Fellowship

You are invited to a time of fellowship from 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. following the service. For the link, check your email or visit our church calendar. We'd love to have you join us!
